My Name is Frito" is based on the true story of our dog, Frito, that was dog-napped by a tourist family in our home-town of Blue Ridge, Georgia. An online post caught the attention of someone in Jacksonville, Florida that recognized Frito as the dog his next door neighbors brought home from their trip to Blue Ridge.
